The Syracuse Vocal Ensemble and Society for New Music will collaborate on a concert that features new and once-performed vocal music by CNY area composers. The Society for New Music is in its 54th year as a commissioning and performing organization. The Society is undergoing a transformation following the death of their founder which includes a stated core mission of collaboration and education. This joint concert offers a rare opportunity to focus on vocal works, featuring a variety of Central New York composers.
